FAQs

Can I get prescriptions through telehealth?

Yes. Providers can prescribe medications when appropriate, which can be sent to your preferred pharmacy. Doctors cannot prescribe controlled substances or certain pain medications. Prescriptions can only be issued within the United States.

Is there a copay for telehealth visits?

Telehealth visits are included at no additional cost.

What specialties are available?

Physicians specialize in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, and Internal Medicine. Specialty care (e.g., dermatology, podiatry) is not currently offered. However, doctors can review and provide advice for common dermatology issues within their scope.

Will I see the same doctor each time?

The next available doctor based on your location and time zone will be assigned to your case. All doctors can access previous consultation notes to ensure continuity of care. However, seeing the same doctor is not guaranteed.

Are there limitations to virtual care?

All medical treatment, diagnosis, and prescription decisions are at the doctor's professional discretion. While physicians aim to address all medical concerns, there are inherent limitations to virtual telemedicine. If a doctor determines they are unable to treat a condition remotely, they will advise on next steps for in-person care.
