Filling Options
Retail Pharmacy Pickup
Pre-pay online and pick up at a chain pharmacy. BestChoice RX texts and emails you an Rx Voucher with processing information. You owe nothing additional at the counter. Your voucher is only valid at the selected pharmacy and will not work at any other pharmacy. BestChoice RX prices are pre-negotiated through their partner PBM. Think of your BestChoice RX card as an Rx Voucher — you pay no premium for this benefit and only pay for the medications your family needs, when you need them.
Home Delivery (Mail-Order)
A 90-day supply through mail-order can often cost less than a 30-day supply at a local retail pharmacy. Most orders include free standard shipping on orders over $12.95. You can set up automatic 90-day refills, and BestChoice RX assists with prescription renewal.
After choosing mail-order on the BestChoice RX website, BestChoice RX initiates a prescription request from your local pharmacy or physician within 24 hours and has it transferred to their affiliate pharmacy, Advanced Pharmacy LLC in Greenville, SC. Allow 10-14 days for prescription retrieval, filling, and delivery. After your first purchase, mail-order becomes automatic as long as you have a valid prescription on file. If there are issues transferring your prescription, BestChoice RX will reach out via email or phone. You can use the retail pickup option in the meantime.
Mail-order costs less than retail because Advanced Pharmacy and BestChoice RX affiliates are "closed-door pharmacies" without the overhead of local retail pharmacies. BestChoice RX buys directly from U.S. manufacturers, adds a small markup to cover costs, and profits based on volume.

FAQs
How do I check if my medication is covered?
Search for your medication by entering the drug name in the search bar on the BestChoice RX portal to see pricing and coverage details.
How do I find participating pharmacies?
Use the BestChoice RX portal to search for pharmacies near you. Over 70,000 pharmacies participate nationwide.
Can I get 90-day supplies?
Yes. Mail-order prescriptions are available in 90-day supplies, often at a lower cost than a 30-day supply at a local pharmacy. The International Pharmacy option also offers up to 90-day supplies at significant savings.
How do I transfer a prescription?
When you place a mail-order through BestChoice RX, they handle the prescription transfer from your local pharmacy or physician automatically. If there are issues, BestChoice RX will contact you for assistance. You can also have your doctor E-scribe directly to Advanced Pharmacy, Greenville, SC (E-scribe Number: 4229971, Fax: 888-870-3823).
What about $4 generic drugs at grocery-chain pharmacies?
BestChoice RX cannot compete with "loss-leader" $4 generics at grocery-chain pharmacies. Call ahead to confirm availability, and price all your other medications with BestChoice RX before you go. You can use the loss-leader drugs at those pharmacies and use BestChoice RX for all other medications since BestChoice RX is accepted at those same retail pharmacies.
Is this Pharmacy Program insurance?
No. This is a Pharmacy Subscription Program. Your Rx Card is not insurance and provides discounts only. Discounts are available exclusively through participating pharmacies. This benefit cannot be used in conjunction with insurance. Formulary and pricing are subject to change. Prescription prices may vary from pharmacy to pharmacy and are subject to change.
What is compounding?
Compounding is the creation of a custom-made drug as prescribed by a physician. BestChoice RX references weight loss medication ingredients identical to branded medications through a 503(b) pharmacy licensed to produce them. 503(b) pharmacies are federally regulated similar to drug manufacturers and can produce and distribute medications to pharmacies for distribution with valid prescriptions.
