Overview

MagnaCare is a Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) plan. Your plan covers a wide range of preventive services at no cost when you use an in-network provider. These services are focused on early detection and long-term health.


How to Use

  1. Call 888-438-1008 ext. 5 to get your Member and Group ID

  2. Find an in-network provider:

  3. Schedule a preventive visit and tell the provider you have a MagnaCare Minimum Essential Coverage plan. Specify the visit is preventive.

  4. Attend your appointment and show your MagnaCare card at check-in

Preventive services are covered at no cost when using in-network providers.


FAQ

When will I receive my MagnaCare card?

Your MagnaCare card will arrive 5-6 weeks after enrollment by mail. In-app digital cards coming soon. Show your MagnaCare card at all preventive care appointments to ensure proper coverage.


What if I didn't have my card at a visit?

Email your itemized receipt to [email protected] to submit a preventive care claim.


Are dependents covered under MagnaCare?

Your MagnaCare MEC plan covers preventive services for eligible dependents. Children have access to a full range of age-appropriate preventive services from birth through age 18, including well-baby and well-child visits, immunizations, developmental screenings, and more (see the Children section above for the complete list).

Women covered under the plan also have access to pregnancy-related preventive care including gestational diabetes screening, preeclampsia screening, and breastfeeding support.
